Web Design History

... in brief.

This adventure started almost 20 years ago with an old 286 desktop and a copy of the original FrontPage.

I was piddling and playing on the web for a number of years when all there was was "dial up." The web was very crude in those days. I built and maintained several sites for several years, back in those early days. I came in off the gulf just before Katrina and took over the webmaster position for a real estate company and have subsequent built them 4 other sites over the years. I rebuilt and re engineered their original site and put it in the top of most all search phrases and words having to do with ranches for sale in Texas. In those years I have made a particular study of Web Marketing, Search Engine Optimization. Generally, Search Engines and what makes them tick and how to use them for the optimum benefit of the client. This in an ever ongoing process as the algorithms used by the SEs are dynamic, always being modified and changed. I am an active member of the International Association of Webmasters and the html Writers Guild. I write clean css based code. Client driven design, user friendly, information presentation and user interface is my specialty. All database design work is done in house by an associate specializing in that type of code work.

Staying abreast of the trends in the search engines is my ongoing education because what good is a great web site if it is not found on the web by those who are searching for websites such as yours.
